While serving a sentence in a Mexican criminal, Libertad González passes the time on the weekly Library membership, interpreting to her fellow inmates from no matter what books she will locate within the prison’s meager offer. along with her tales, Libertad enthralls a bunch of lady prisoners each bit as eccentric because the stories she tells.
But the tale that emerges has not anything to do with the phrases imprinted on the pages. in its place, she tells the tale of Joaquín González, a former professor and fugitive of the Mexican executive who reinvents himself as a trucker within the usa. There he falls in love with a wild girl with whom he stocks his truck and his existence, till he without warning reveals himself on my own at the street with a child woman.
Joaquín and his daughter make the cab of an 18-wheeler their domestic, sharing everything—adventures, books, truck-stop chow, and stories of the girl’s mother—until the woman grows right into a girl, and an opportunity come upon with one guy reasons her to insurgent opposed to another.
